Prosser Law Professional Corporation provides criminal defence to all individuals — including those receiving funding from Legal Aid Ontario — at every stage of the process, from bail through preliminary hearing, Charter applications, trial, and sentencing.
Jenny's practice carries a particular focus on the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms: arbitrary arrest and detention, unreasonable search and seizure, excessive force, the misuse of police power, and the rights to counsel and to silence.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Jenny received her law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2015 and was called to the bar in 2016. She articled in criminal defence and has worked exclusively in that area of law ever since in the London, St. Thomas, and Woodstock areas. She started her own firm in January 2023.
Her work has engaged with all areas of criminal law and she has extensive experience with a wide variety of evidentiary and legal issues. She has a particular interest in and focus on Charter issues and defending individuals against the significant power and resources of the state. She appears regularly in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. Jenny believes strongly that no matter the charge, every person is entitled to a strong, educated, and skillful defence and works hard to provide that to every one of her clients.
